Hello, Readers!
I know it’s been over five weeks since I published Part 2 of my series, “Turning From A Different Gospel.” I would love to have sent out Part 3 already, but a number of things have contributed to a delay. I took some time off and did some traveling with my family at the end of July/early August. When we returned, it took some time for me to rebuild momentum, especially since Part 3 requires me to wade through the philosophical writings of ancient Greeks and early church theologians. Then I re-injured my knee (not seriously, but it did have me in pain for about a week). And then my daughter broke her arm. So there’s been a bit of drama around here, and none of it has been particularly conducive to writing about “Plato Hiding in the Rafters of Western Christianity.”
While I continue to work on this third installment, I thought I’d send you this video interview I did last Tuesday with some great folks from Unite Atlanta, a multi-cultural and multi-denominational movement of churches in the greater Atlanta area. The topic of our discussion was “Building Relationships Across Class.” I hope you find it encouraging and helpful in your own discipleship experience.
Peace and grace,
Judy
